I have never known anyone who deliberately set out to make a bad decision.

I have never known anyone who deliberately set out to make a bad decision.

We all want to make wise decisions. About where to go to school, what to study, who we marry, what job to take, where to live, how to raise our kids, how to spend our money, what commitments to make.

But, since we can’t control the future or other people there are no guarantees about what we decide.

We believe that God has a plan for us that is good and perfect. And generally we’ve messed up enough with our own plans to want to be aligned with God’s plan.

This week at the Gathering Church we will continue the series on Hearing God by looking at how we can experience God’s Guidance. Psalm 25:1-5 contains a specific prayer asking for God’s guidance.

But, how does God guide us?

How is it that we become guidable?

Does God even care that much about the particular decisions we have to make?

How did Jesus experience God’s guidance?

Wisdom reveals to us that we are much like the Israelites in the wilderness. Without God’s guidance we are lost.

Every life-stage is packed with decision moments.

Let’s learn how God speaks to us and how we can best listen.

I hope to see you this Sunday.
