I am exited that this Sunday we get to welcome Curt Lowndes as the new Associate Pastor for the Gathering Church.
Curt and Jenny and their two children, Eloise and Olive have moved from Morehead, Kentucky, where Curt was the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church. Curt and Jenny were part of our church in its early days and we are glad to welcome them back.
Curt will provide leadership in many areas in the church such as Home Group ministry, young adult support, community service initiatives and assistance in worship and teaching.
I hope that you will be there this Sunday to welcome Curt, Jenny and their family. Plan to stay for the potluck as well.
Also, this Sunday we will begin a new message series, Habits That Grow Us. Our first one will be Worship: Satisfaction in God, from Psalm 63:1-8.
Also, an Adult Sunday School class for the month of June will begin this Sunday, 9:15a-10:15.
We will also recognize the graduation of our fifth-grade students as they move into middle school.
