Relevant

In life today we rarely question whether something is true.  We ask if it is relevant.

Does it matter?

Does it add anything to our life experience?

Does it make a difference?

Well, the birth of Christ makes no difference and is not relevant unless we know one thing.

Our need for a Savior.

Our need to be rescued.

But, from what?

This Sunday at the Gathering Church we will look at one of the first descriptions of what the birth of Christ meant.  It is found in the New Testament Gospel of Luke 1:67-79.  It is spoken by an old man who has been unable to speak for nine months.  And he describes a Great Rescue.
