The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. ~ Psalm 25:14

The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. ~ Psalm 25:14

The thought of God confiding in people who revere him is a powerful concept.

From the first verses in the Bible to the very end God is shown to be a speaking God. But, how do we hear God speak?

Is it possible to have a two-way conversational relationship with God? Does it matter? Don’t we know all we need to know about God in order to do what he wishes?

This Sunday at the Gathering Church we will begin a message series on Hearing God. We will start with Hebrews 1:1-3 to see that God does speak.

How would you describe your relationship with God?

For many of us God is like a boss, a judge, an absent father, or a genie.

How is it possible for God to be more like a friend, a guide, a mentor, a counselor?

What positive outcomes would we experience if God was confiding in us?

Let’s find out.
