The Power of Persuasion

The Power of Persuasion

“Intelligent people can’t believe in God.  Or, at least they shouldn’t.  It’s just a fantasy.”

Perhaps your friends do not say it that directly, but many of my friends believe exactly that.

Sudhakar Mondithoka, the guest speaker at the Gathering Church this Sunday has spoken to thousands around the world who had too easily dismissed the possibility of meaningful faith.

From Hyderabad, India, he is the director of HITHA (Hyderabad Institute of Theology and Apologetics).  Trained as an entomologist he has become a pastor, author, and professor.  Rev. Mondithoka is currently traveling in the U.S. for speaking engagements in Denver, New Jersey, Richmond, Maryland, and New York.

As we continue in our study of the book of Acts, Rev. Mondithoka will be speaking to us from Acts 17:1-4.  How was the message of Jesus Christ able to engage the philosophers of Athens?

How could intelligent people not only believe this message but present it with confidence?

This Sunday we get to live the book of Acts as we welcome Rev. Sudhakar Mondithoka.
