This Sunday – July 3
Ahhhhhhh . . . . . . . the July 4th weekend. A good break and change of pace Like coming up for air.
Sunday will be special at the Gathering Church. Curt Lowndes, a recent graduate from Duke Divinity School will be speaking. I will be there doing what I first did before becoming a pastor – leading the worship music. We are excited about the service.
We will be looking at one of the most meaningful events in the lives of the followers of Jesus. I won’t give it away, but it has something to do with a boat that was about to sink. The story is found in Mark 4:35-41. Curt is a speical person who knows well what happens in the boat.
Holiday Sundays are always special. I’m glad that we get to spend it together.
