The Gathering Church begins Sunday morning services this Sunday, at Creeksside Elementary School, 5321 Ephesus Church Road, Durham.
We are excited about this opportunity to open the door to others in our area. We will have a lunch together immediately following the service.
The focus passage of this first Sunday will be Isaiah 61:1-3, with special emphasis on the last phrases of verse three. There we find a great description of what God wants to do in the lives of people.
As we seek to serve God it is vital to have his vision for people, starting with ourselves. Imagine being known as “a planting of the Lord.” We have started the Gathering Church because we want more and more people to have an opportunity to be connected to God, to be a result of his great work in this world.
We take our next step this Sunday.
