Perhaps Jesus’ most well known teaching, the Sermon on the Mount (chapters 5-7 of Matthew’s gospel), feature some of Jesus’ stories, teachings, and words about the Kingdom of God (or “the heavens”). This series hones in on the force and urgency of these teachings to show us how close the Kingdom is, how near God has come, within arm’s reach even.
